Slotting

Slotting is reasonably simple to do however if you after certain slot fillers it gets slightly more technical.
To Slot an Item You need to take it to any Core Alchemist each slot will cost a certain amount of alz based on the item and which slot is being upgraded.

Example Osmium triple slot , First slot cost = 800K, Second slot cost = 1.6 Mil, Third slot cost = 3.2 Mil

Step 1 >> Getting Your Items:

First of all you will need to buy the right items to upgrade the following table will show you which items are needed for what level of armour / weapon.

Core Type	Armours / Weapons Usable With	Can be use instead of :
Low (FCL)	Aramid / Shadow Steel or lower	Nothing
Medium (FCM)	Titanium / Pherystin or lower	Low (FCL)
High (FCH)	Sigmetal or lower	Low (FCL) & Medium (FCM)
Highest (FCHH)	Mithril or lower (all Armour / Weapons)	Low (FCL) , Medium (FCM) & High (FCH)

Step 2 >> Catalysts and Level 2:

Catalysts do not have to be used however, if you want a certain slot filler they are priceless.
The following image shows which slot fillers can be placed into which items and what equipment has to be sacrificed to obtain them.



To Try for level 2 slot fillers you have to use 2 Force cores of the correct level and no catalyst it is also completely random.

Step 3 >> Increasing Your Chances:

Along with the Force core you can use Upgrade cores to increase the success rate of the Slotting, also the + of an empty slot catalyst will increse the success rate.

Each Upgrade Core and each "+" increases the success rate by + 3%.

In the images below the first image shows the effects of 2 UCL's : [Base Success Rate] 75% + (2 * 3%) = 81% SR
The second image shows the effects of 2 UCL's and a +1 clean slot catalyst : [Base SR] 75% + (3 * 3%) = 84% SR
The final image shows the effects of 2 UCL's and a +3 clean slot catalyst : [Base SR] 75% + (5 * 3%) = 90% SR





Step 4 >> Slotting:

Once you have placed all your Items in the slots click the upgrade item button watch some pointless flickering back and forth between pictures of slot fillers.
If you have used a catalyst it will only switch between one slot filler and "failed".

With luck you will have filled the items slot = )
